Feb 3	Kentucky Rural Health Association Advocacy Day Attendees will learn to advocate effectively for rural health care issues. Speakers include some of Kentucky's leading health care policy experts. The day will start in Capitol Annex Room 113 in Frankfort. After the conference, attendees can speak one-on-one with legislators. Registration fee is $20 for Kentucky Rural Health Association (KRHA) members, $40 for non-members and free for students. Registration is available online, or by mail or fax. Gather in the Rotunda at 1:00 p.m. to hear from policy-makers. Call 502-564-8100 to make an appointment to meet personally with your legislator! The Kentucky Council on Developmental Disabilities (KCDD) is again making the Consumer Involvement Fund available to reimburse individuals or organizations for travel expenses and to provide an overnight stay for those traveling more than 120 miles to Frankfort.
