Kentucky Remains 41st In National KIDS COUNT Ranking
 
For the second year in a row, Kentucky ranks 41st in the nation in overall child well-being according to the national 2009 KIDS COUNT Data Book, recently released by the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
 
The annual publication uses the best available data to measure the educational, social, economic, and physical well-being of children in each state. This year marks the 20th edition of the book.
